Job SummaryOversee activities in car shops, locomotive shops, repair‑in‑place tracks, and Service & Inspection terminals for the Division. Supervise all mechanical operations in assigned location. Serve as the mechanical point of contact for multiple state‑supported services and contracts in the division.
Essential Functions- Lead planning, development, and management of resources for inspection and mechanical service activities from conceptual design to project close‑out, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate inspection and mechanical service activities with internal stakeholders and external organizations.
- Ensure strict compliance with maintenance alerts, regulatory requirements, and supplier instructions.
- Implement process improvements to enhance inspection and servicing across extended areas.
- Monitor productivity, making procedural adjustments as needed, and oversee safety plans and programs for inspection and mechanical services.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
- Plus 11 years of relevant work experience.

- Plus 13 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive knowledge of railway and rail transit rolling stock servicing, repair, and maintenance, with demonstrated leadership in these areas.
- Proficiency in project and inventory management, technical supervision, quality control, and planning for procedural and operational methods.
- Experience in budget control, financial management, and contract oversight.
- Effective oral and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in process management and application of safety program methodology.
- Familiarity with railway engineering regulatory requirements and industry quality standards, including ISO procedures.
