Senior Treasury Analyst

Job Location s: US-PA-Lancaster | US-NJ-Mt Laurel | US-DE-Georgetown | US-MD-Hunt Valley | US-VA-Virginia Beach | US-DC-Washington

Overview

This full‑time role can be hybrid within the Fulton Bank footprint in DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA. The primary responsibility is to manage and optimize the bank’s liquidity and collateral positions. The incumbent will perform daily and monthly liquidity tracking, develop and enhance cash‑flow forecasts, lead investment back‑office and clearing functions within Fund Management, manage daily funding activities with limited oversight, partner with business unit leaders to ensure accurate forecasting and strong operations, contribute to process improvements, and support Treasury’s relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the investment back‑office support function for Funds Management, including portfolio accounting, investment and derivative trade processing and settlement, and review processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with the management, monitoring and control of the Federal Reserve daily position, ensuring all accounts are properly funded and escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate purchasing and selling overnight Federal Funds and maintain positive relationships with brokers.
  • Ensure appropriate daily and month‑end General Ledger entries are posted and resolve outstanding reconciliation items with Corporate Accounting Partners.
  • Optimize daily and monthly collateralization of the bank’s municipal deposits and maintain reporting compliance.
  • Contribute to the optimization of loan collateral and reporting to the FHLB and FRB, maintaining data accuracy and consistency.
  • Partner with business units to develop month‑ly deposit and loan cash‑flow projections, improve forecasting process and data quality.
  • Maintain and update procedures, train Treasury Operations backup staff, and serve as a resource for daily Treasury Operations continuity.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, including monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc audit confirmation letters for public fund accounts.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty:
Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other applicable. (Required)

Experience: 5+ years in treasury (Required); 2+ years in banking or financial services (Required); 2+ years liquidity management (Preferred); 1+ year accounting (Preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with fixed‑income capital markets, funding instruments and Treasury‑related accounting (Required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (Required)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret liquidity and forecasting data (Required)
  • Familiarity with Accounting & General Ledgers (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in daily funding decisions (Required)
Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

This role may perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Employees are accountable for reading, understanding, and acting on all company‑assigned compliance programs, regulations, and policies, ensuring compliance training is completed on time and escalating compliance risks as appropriate.

Pay Transparency

Base salary range: $81,200.00 – $ annually. Compensation may vary by geographic location and is determined by candidate’s experience and qualifications. The role is eligible for a short‑term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
