We’re looking for a proactive and organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee hiring efforts for two locations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands‑on recruiting environment, enjoys connecting with candidates, and wants to make an immediate impact in a supportive, family‑owned company culture.

Location: New Castle County, DE (onsite)

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $25/hour

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for applicants via calls, walk‑ins, and online inquiries.
  • Manage recruiting inboxes for multiple divisions, schedule interviews, and maintain candidate communication.
  • Process all pre‑employment requirements, including background checks, physicals, drug screenings, and driving records.
  • Track all applicant documentation and ensure compliance with DOT and company policies.
  • Coordinate and attend community recruiting events and job fairs (weekends or flexible hours).
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets and reporting for candidate tracking.
  • Support applicants throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of recruiting experience, ideally in high‑volume hiring.
  • Comfortable managing multiple locations and stepping up independently.
  • Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
  • Experience with pre‑employment screenings and background checks preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and social media for recruiting.
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
