Creole Interpreter - In Person

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability.

Language needed: Creole - Immediate need

Location: Georgetown, Delaware area and surrounding jobs in Sussex County - IN-PERSON

• Potential for 10-15 hours a week.

• It is preferred that candidates possess documentation to show proficiency in languages other than English. If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test.
• Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume. Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church or interpreting for family/friends is NOT sufficient.
• Must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry.
• Must have reliable phone service for contact.
• Must be comfortable with using a computer for job input.
