SUMMARYAssemble hand soldered circuit board (PCB) and wire harnesses with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform all tasks required for electrical and electronic assemblies.
- Read wiring schematics and assembly drawings, required for manufacturing.
- Test and replace defective instruments using electricians’ tools and other testing devices.
- Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to specification.
- Assemble hand soldered PCB and wire harnesses.
- Demonstrate familiarity with IPC 610.
- Assure all paperwork requirements are kept current with job progress.
- Report any un-airworthy items to technical advisor and/or supervisor that inspection may have missed.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete initial/recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist the Supervisor and Technical Advisor by providing training to team members.

QUALIFICATIONS- High School education or equivalent reading, writing, and mathematical abilities.
- 5+ years of experience as Electrical Assembler or equivalent type position.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex engineering prints.
- Knowledge of schematics, assembly drawings, and avionics and electrical systems.
- Knowledgeable in the use of basic aircraft and electrical tools, including soldering.
- Solid understanding of whole PCB and wire harnesses.
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and plan work.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when needed.
- Read, write, and understand the English language.
