Trillium is seeking a CNC Machinist in Georgetown!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is ideal for a recent two-year college graduate or an early-career machinist ready to grow. You'll work hands-on with HAAS CNC lathes and mills to build custom stainless-steel components. As a CNC Machinist, you'll gain experience in advanced setup, editing, and production techniques while contributing to real-world manufacturing.
This position is built for someone who enjoys precise, technical work, can read and interpret prints, measure accurately, and wants to expand their skills designing fixtures, understanding process flows, and producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and job order specifications to ensure correct machining processes.
- Inspect all finished pieces to ensure quality and tolerance are met.
- Accurately document while maintaining production timelines.
- Manage materials and work orders in your area and support non-machining tasks when needed.
- Perform daily and weekly machine maintenance.
- Quote small machining jobs such as shafts and assist with miscellaneous machining needs.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift.
Schedule is 1st Shift / Tuesday-Saturday / 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Pay rate is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE.
Qualifications- Four years of machining experience preferred, or two years of machining education plus two years of hands-on experience.
- Experience using Esprit CAM, Solid Works, and running HAAS mills and lathes.
- Familiarity with Conversational code, G-Code, and general machining workflows.
- Strong understanding of speeds and feeds for stainless steel and plastics.
- Working knowledge of drilling, grinding, and milling equipment.
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving, time-management, and advanced math skills (geometry and trigonometry).
