Vital Core Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in correctional health care, has openings for full‑time day shift and PRN Licensed Practical Nurses at Sussex Community Correctional Center in Georgetown, DE (12‑hour shifts). We offer shift differentials and competitive wages.

Shift Differential:

• Weekday (Mon‑Fri): $3.25
• Weekend (Sat/Sun) 3 p‑11 p: $4.75
• Weekend 11 p‑7:30 a: $3.00
• Day: $3.50
• Evening/Nights: $4.50

Training Requirement: Must be available for at least 3–6 weeks for onsite training.

Schedule:

• 12‑hour shifts (8 am‑8 pm or 8 pm‑8 am)
• Full‑time day shift (must be available for at least 3–6 weeks for onsite training)
• PRN (must be available for at least 3–6 weeks for onsite training); PRN staff required to work 2 shifts per month.

Shift Differentials Offered:

• PRN pay rates differ from full‑time/part‑time employees.

Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality care within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act. The LPN is responsible for tasks, activities, and functions delegated by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director, and may assign duties to others as defined by state law. The LPN provides monitoring of patients as directed by the supervising practitioner.
