Key Responsibilities:Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising nursing services to ensure high-quality care is delivered to all residents.Conduct and monitor daily rounds to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Oversee care planning, staff assignments, and resident assessments.Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures that align with facility goals and standards.Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including care plans, incident reports, and training records.Participate in regulatory surveys and ensure facility compliance with safety, infection control, and patient care standards.Manage staff scheduling, budgeting for nursing department needs, and resource allocation.Act as Director of Nursing in their absence and provide 24-hour on-call support when necessary.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification in the state of ALCompletion of a Registered Nurse program; minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for maintaining high standards of care.Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.The facility is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
