Environmental Scientist III - NPDES
This position resides in the Division of Water, Resource Protection Section, and will be responsible for compliance and enforcement activities within the following programs;
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Industrial Stormwater (ISW), NPDES individual permitted facilities, Large Systems, and Spray Irrigation programs. The individual selected will assist in training new employees, lead writing of enforcement for non-compliant facilities, and represent the Division in large scale enforcement that crosses Divisions. Daily tasks, include planning/scheduling/conducting routine field inspections of assigned facilities, including data submission management, tracking corrective actions, compliance/enforcement actions, and scheduling/facilitating meetings.
