Miscellaneous Metals Foreman
Location:Candidates must be located near Georgetown, DE;
Sterling, VA;
Baltimore, MD; or Washington, DC
Job Type:Direct Hire
Pay:Starting at $32/hour; higher pay available based on experience

We are looking for an experienced
Miscellaneous Metals Foreman
to lead field installation crews working on stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal projects. This is a hands-on position responsible for coordinating job-site activities, maintaining quality standards, and keeping work compliant with safety requirements.
The Foreman will also act as the primary field contact for installation activities and coordinate with the General Contractor throughout the project.
Responsibilities- Direct field crews installing stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal components.
- Coordinate daily work and site activities with the General Contractor.
- Review blueprints and establish accurate layouts for installation.
- Plan crew assignments and organize required materials, tools, and equipment.
- Confirm crew certifications and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Act as the on-site safety representative and enforce PPE and project-specific safety procedures.
- Lead Tool-Box Shop Talks and reinforce safe work practices.
- Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.
- Monitor tools, equipment, and company service vehicles and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain quality and productivity throughout installation activities.
- 5+ years of miscellaneous metals experience preferred.
- Previous Foreman or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand safety documentation.
- Strong basic math skills, including angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
- Working knowledge of
AWS D1.1. - Knowledge of
SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW
welding processes. - Current welder certifications or the ability to successfully pass a weld test.
- Strong commitment to job-site safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
