Accounts Payable Coordinator II

The Accounts Payable Coordinator II is responsible for processing and reviewing vendor invoices, purchase orders, and fund requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. The coordinator corrects related invoices and resolves accounting issues.

Responsibilities
  • Process and sort mail
  • Code and enter invoices into the ERP system
  • Make and respond to vendor calls and provide customer service
  • Follow up on outstanding documents such as W-9s and missing invoices
  • Research and reconcile vendor statements
  • Partner with regional operations personnel to ensure invoices are handled appropriately
  • Resolve accounting issues and understand subcontract compliance modules
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience in general accounting or training
  • Construction accounting experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and general computer applications
  • Strong communication skills to work with internal coworkers, managers, vendors, and clients
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
