Staff Accountant

The Accounting Associate supports day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts payable and billing. This role ensures accurate financial processing, maintains strong internal controls, and supports general accounting activities as needed. The position works closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payment
• Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Review and approve credit card charges for employees as needed
• Issue customer invoices and support billing processes
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting support as needed
• Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or billing preferred
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience working with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
