Our client is seeking an Accountant with 2-4 years of experience to join its growing finance team in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role offers the opportunity to own the full accounting cycle while gaining exposure to complex consolidations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and a desire to grow within a stable organization.

Candidates coming directly from public accounting are preferred, though professionals with a combination of public accounting and industry experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidations across multiple entities.
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with operations and other departments to support financial reporting and business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and enhance internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience is preferred, but candidates with a blend of public accounting and manufacturing industry experience will also be considered.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
• Exposure to financial consolidations is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
