Warehouse Administrative Assistant – Lockbourne, OH
Job OverviewSupport Ryder E‑Commerce operations by managing payroll data, coordinating meetings, maintaining files, handling correspondence, and ensuring accurate, timely delivery of critical documents and reports. Act as a key liaison among internal teams and external contacts, resolve routine issues, and provide a professional, responsive experience.
Pay & Schedule- Pay Type: Hourly / Paid Weekly
- Hourly Pay: $24.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Preferred Qualifications: Administrative support experience, Warehouse/E‑Comm experience, Customer‑facing experience
- Manage payroll system data and documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling and logistics.
- Maintain and update files, correspondence, and reporting materials.
- Compile data, prepare clear tracking materials, and update leadership on key metrics.
- Act as liaison between internal teams and external contacts, resolving routine issues.
- Balance multiple priorities, manage special projects, and support team members as needed.
- Answer phones, take messages, and schedule appointments.
- Resolve routine issues independently and coordinate special projects.
- Maintain budget and expense reports, and prepare related recommendations.
- Develop reports and presentations.
- Compile, research, and tabulate data, performing analysis as required.
- Interface with internal and external customers.
- Sort, open, and distribute mail.
- Make travel arrangements.
- Type and design correspondence, memos, tables, and graphs.
- Maintain department file system.
- Assist in training and reviewing work of lower‑level employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Apply advanced skills in area of specialization.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Multi‑task, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills.
- Operate independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in related field. - 3–5+ years in advanced administrative positions.
- Strong knowledge of general functional area, applied to varied situations.
- Advanced PC skills: MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Prior knowledge of company procedures and policies.
