Strategic Procurement Manager - Indirect Procurement

Ring Central is hiring a Strategic Procurement Manager – Indirect Procurement to serve as the trusted partner for internal business partners and manage end‑to‑end procurement processes.

• Serve as the trusted partner and primary point of contact for internal business partners, guiding them through the entire end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle.
• Proactively engage and partner with cross‑functional stakeholders, including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A, to preemptively identify and address technical, financial, and risk‑related requirements.
• Manage multiple BU and vendor engagements and high‑volume procurement activities simultaneously across diverse indirect spend categories.
• Collaborate with business partners and Procurement team members to develop, enhance, and execute category strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Support sourcing initiatives, including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
• Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on trends and benchmark pricing.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices, and educate business partners accordingly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Basic proficiency and demonstrable experience with fundamental contractual terms and commercial agreements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace.
• Experience with procurement tools (e.g., Net Suite) and ERP systems (Anaplan, Oracle) and project‑management tools (, Fresh Service, SharePoint).
• Demonstrable experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance procurement efficiency and insights.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and ability to act strategically while being a hands‑on team member.

• Experience in indirect procurement within a mid‑to‑large sized enterprise.
• Familiarity with software licensing models / SaaS agreements.
• Experience with one or more indirect categories.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
