Cost Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring financial efficiency within our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and cost management techniques.

• Collaborate with project managers to provide insights on cost control measures and financial performance.
• Project estimating experience for construction in industrial and/or commercial buildings
• Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Create budgetary estimates based on a conceptual scope of work with very few drawings available
• Analyze contractor bids to locate potential scope gaps
