Construction Superintendent

Serve as the on-site leader responsible for logistics, schedules, coordination, safety, quality, and documentation for self-performed and subcontracted work.

• Direct daily site operations; coordinate self-performed crews and subcontractors
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules; coordinate sequencing, access, and temporary works
• Plan site logistics (deliveries, laydown, hoisting, temp utilities, and housekeeping)
• Enforce safety programs and quality standards; conduct inspections and correct deficiencies
• Maintain daily reports (manpower, production, safety, weather, delays) and photo documentation
• Review drawings and scopes to identify risks, opportunities, and potential change orders
• Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, inspections, and contract requirements
• Communicate status to project teams and clients; support closeout and punch lists

• High school diploma or GED
• 5–10 years hands‑on construction experience, including 3+ years supervisory
• Expert knowledge of field operations, sequencing, and site logistics
• Strong command of safety, quality control, and contract compliance
• Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain documentation
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

• Experience with code/permit processes and occupied facilities
• OSHA-30 certification
• Skill in identifying risks, changes, and schedule/cost improvements
