  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

About Us Townsend Family Dental Center is a patient-focused, community-rooted dental practice committed to providing exceptional care with compassion and integrity. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Front Desk Professional to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications
  • Collect and process payments, verify insurance eligibility, and explain financial options
  • Manage patient charts, referrals, and electronic communications in Dentrix
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby environment
  • Follow up with unscheduled treatment and missed appointments
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental front office setting
  • Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental EMR system
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
  • Team player mindset with a commitment to excellence
  • High level of professionalism and reliability

Preferred Qualities

  • Familiarity with dental insurance verification and billing
  • Ability to handle high patient volume with grace
  • Positive attitude and ability to help foster a supportive work culture
