The Dental Assistant / EDDA is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, KY. This team member supports the dentist chairside during a wide range of procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and other treatments. Daily responsibilities include preparing and organizing treatment rooms, assisting with patient seating and education, handling instruments and materials, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also involves sterilizing equipment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed, taking impressions or radiographs as permitted, and contributing to a welcoming, efficient, and safe environment for patients and colleagues.

• Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care, Oral Care, and Dentistry to support a broad range of chairside procedures and patient treatments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting to effectively prepare treatment rooms, assist the dentist, and manage patient flow.
• Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization to maintain equipment, adhere to infection control standards, and support a safe clinical environment.
• Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant or EDDA program and any required state certifications or registrations in Kentucky preferred. Current students may also be considered.
• Knowledge of basic dental terminology, procedures, and materials, including experience with digital charts and radiography systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and maintain a calm, supportive demeanor with patients of all ages.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow clinical protocols while working collaboratively in a team-focused practice.
• CPR certification and prior experience in a general or family dentistry setting are preferred.
