Age Group of Children: 2 months old – 18 Months old

Key Responsibilities (to assist in all duties below):

Holistic Development of Infant/Toddlers Through:

Assist in implementing Developmentally Appropriate Teaching, Learning and Caregiving Approaches aligned to Curriculum Framework

Assist Infant Educarers to conduct simple activities to engage infants meaningfully

Assist in integrating respectfulness, responsiveness and reciprocity within the curriculum.

Assist in setting up quality learning environments.

Interactions & Relationships

Display sensitivity to each child’s needs (within a group setting) through respectful, responsiveness and reciprocal interactions and relationships with children.

Support children’s development of secure attachments through warm, consistent and nurturing caregiving.

Health, Safety & Nutrition

Assist in implementing daily schedules and routines such as diapering / bath, feeding and naptime.

Adhere to health, safety, nutritional and hygiene standards and procedures.

Professional Development

Engage in continuous learning and reflective practice.

Apply emotional competence to manage self at the workplace.

Commit to uphold the professionalism of the ECCE sector.

Teamwork and Collaboration

Collaborate with colleagues to foster positive workplace relationships.

Communicate and relate effectively at the workplace, by demonstrating an understanding of PCF’s vision, mission and values.

Demonstrate understanding of the Centre’s Vision, Mission and Values

Job Holder Requirements:

Qualification:

Preferably with Fundamentals in Early Childhood Care and Education Certificate.

Competent in workplace literacy and numeracy.

Experience:

Other Knowledge / Skills / Attributes:
Skills in care, education, or nursing background will be advantageous
