Full Time Preschool Special Education Teacher (Integrated Classroom) at Celina Elementary for the 2026–2027 School Year

We are looking for a Preschool Special Education Teacher who understands that learning can look different for every child and is committed to helping all learners succeed through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction.

At our Celina City Schools, ESC Integrated Preschool classroom, we are not just preparing children for kindergarten—we are building the foundation for communication, independence, social development, and a lifelong love of learning. Our classrooms are engaging, active, and intentionally designed around play‑based learning, where children develop skills through hands‑on experiences, exploration, and guided interaction. With smaller class sizes and a larger, collaborative team, you will have the support needed to meet students where they are and help them grow in ways that truly matter.

Essential

Duties
  • Differentiate instruction and adapt materials, activities, and expectations to meet a wide range of developmental needs, ensuring access and support for all learners
  • Implement curriculum in a meaningful, fun, play‑based, and developmentally appropriate manner
  • Create a structured, engaging classroom where routines, transitions, play, and small group instruction are used as intentional teaching opportunities
  • Support development of foundational preschool skills, including early literacy, early math, and social‑emotional skills
  • Monitor student progress through observation and data, maintain IEP documentation and required paperwork with attention to detail, and collaborate with staff and families to support student success

Requirements
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Special Education
  • Licensure:
    Valid Ohio PreK3 Teaching Certificate and special education certificate
  • Mindset: A passion for early childhood education, with a strong commitment to meeting individual student needs through differentiation, and bringing energy, positivity, and joy into daily instruction
