Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our high school team in Waterloo, WI. This is a full-time position for the entire school year, with an immediate start date. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers, and providing specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
- Provide direct and indirect instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive education.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities.
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license with a special education endorsement.
- Experience working with high school students with special needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
