Position Title
Open Rank Faculty, Pharmacy Practice
Position SummaryJoin Northeast Ohio Medical University’s College of Pharmacy. We seek an educator to contribute to curriculum development and delivery in Practice Management/Pharmacy Leadership, Healthcare Delivery Systems, or related areas. The successful candidate will bring a commitment to academic excellence, advanced knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The position has 60‑80% teaching effort, 10‑20% research effort, and 10‑20% service effort.
Responsibilities- Teaching and Service: Participate in pharmacy and graduate student education, contribute to direct teaching needs, evaluate teaching success, serve on college and university committees, and participate in professional organizations.
- Research: Engage in scholarly activities, seek extramural funding, conduct collaborative inquiries, maintain funding, and publish papers.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Pharm.
D., PhD in Pharmacy Administration or Social/Administrative Sciences, or equivalent experience in Pharmacy Practice.
- Teaching experience and expertise in curriculum and course development.
- Track record of research/scholarship and ability to mentor students, fellows, and faculty.
- Engagement in public or professional organizations and/or leadership experience.
- Collaborative ability with administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
- Commitment to building a humanistic culture and fostering student success.
Must be able to use a phone, computer, and other office equipment.
