Job Summary:
The Department of Biology in the Getty College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a part-time, adjunct faculty position in Biology. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Biology will be considered. We seek individuals who are passionate about teaching and invested in student success. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue in order to fill positions as needed each fall and each spring semester.
A master's degree in Biology or 18 hours graduate coursework in Biology is required. Candidates with doctoral degrees in Biology and experience teaching Biology at the university level are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, as well as the interest and ability to mentor students. Job DescriptionSuccessful candidates will serve as instructors of record for introductory lecture courses, laboratories, or other courses as assigned. Typical assignments include one or two courses each semester, depending on student demand. Questions concerning the position should be directed to the Department Chair, Dr. Leslie Riley at l-riley.
