Responsibilities
- Integrate and deploy robotic systems, including virtual safety solutions.
- Develop and support applications using ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Write, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs
. - Deploy and troubleshoot machine vision systems
. - Install and commission manufacturing equipment.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, and vendor coordination.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree (ABET accredited) in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, Controls, or related engineering field.
- 2+ years of automotive manufacturing experience
. - 5+ years of Hands-on experience with ROS, PLC programming, and vision systems
. - Experience in manufacturing equipment installation and commissioning
. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
. - Willingness to travel (~25%) and work overtime (~20%).
- Master’s or PhD in Robotics/Controls/Mechatronics.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, ABB, Fanuc, Keyence, Cognex, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SAE/ISO, NFPA/NEC, and UL standards.
