Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Technology Engineer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a 12‑month contract position. Pay range: $60/hr–$80/hr magnit Direct Sourcing’s voluntary benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. This post is for an existing vacancy.

• Work with and deploy new virtual safety system allowing robots to work without fences.
• 2+ years automotive industry experience.
• Hands‑on experience developing and integrating robotic systems using ROS.
• Experience with vision systems and manufacturing projects is a plus.

• Proven experience in development of innovative projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with project management, including writing detailed scopes of work, creating schedules, managing vendors/contractors, and providing regular status updates.
• Proven use of computer‑aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) engineering software techniques.
• Ability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proven demonstration of installing manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel, domestically and internationally as required (~25%).
• Willingness to work overtime (~20%) as required.
• Experience in PLC projects, including program writing, teaching, and safety standards.
• Evidence of deployed machine vision systems.

• Masters or PhD degree in controls, robotics or mechatronics discipline.
• Proven experience with JSA/JHA.
• Experience in construction management.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing plant.
• Project Management certification.
• Proven experience with securing approval of funding for projects.
• Familiarity with SAE/ISO, NFPA/NEC, and UL standards.
• Proven experience with conducting equipment risk assessments.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting vision systems.
• Experience integrating the following products:
  Allen‑Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider, Keyence, Cognex, IR Vision, Mitsubishi, IFM, CODESYS, Ignition, MIR, MATLAB, Visual Studio, Otto, ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Universal Robots, Kepware.
