Robotics / Controls Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing
Georgetown, KY
12-Month Contract
Summary:
We are seeking a hands‑on Robotics/Controls Engineer to deploy a new virtual safety system enabling fence‑less robot operations within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of automotive manufacturing experience
- Strong PLC programming experience (Toyopuc required)
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.)
- Experience installing and commissioning manufacturing equipment
Must be comfortable working in a plant environment with up to 25% travel and occasional overtime.
