Seeking a CAD Technician to support project planning, design standardization, and 3D modeling activities for future vehicle programs. This role involves 3D studies, FEA simulations, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support model changes and plant launches
- Standardize layouts and design concepts
- Perform 3D studies, FEA, and manage assemblies
- Support new technology and special projects
- 2+ years of CAD Technician experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Catia, Solid Works, or Inventor
- Experience with Autodesk Vault
- Knowledge of 3D scanning and 3D printing
- Proficient in MS Excel and Power Point
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability for 2nd shift and plant shutdown support as needed
