Procurement Director

Procurement Director – US, Ohio – 12 Month Contract

Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made. We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Procurement Director to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

• Own and execute the end‑to‑end procurement strategy for a $1bn greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing project.
• Work closely with construction leadership to ensure procurement decisions directly support buildability, logistics, and site execution.
• Lead high‑value negotiations with EPCMs, construction contractors, and major equipment suppliers.
• Oversee procurement of complex pharmaceutical process equipment and supporting utility systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline (Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required).
• Extensive experience leading procurement on large‑scale capital projects ($500m and up), ideally $1bn greenfield builds.
• Strong construction acumen with a practical understanding of how procurement decisions impact site execution.
• Demonstrated experience working with S‑curves, cash‑flow forecasting, and procurement phasing aligned to construction schedules.
