Construction Consulting Engineer
Under administrative direction, provides engineering advisory services related to divisional or departmental projects and activities. Performs other job-related duties as required.
Capital Projects- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or Business Administration. - Experience:
4 years of full-time paid experience in project management of information systems. - License:
Must have a State of Ohio Professional Engineer's License (or a temporary license at hire with a permanent license within 90 days). - Preferred:
Project/Program Management certification. - Computer skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project; familiarity with project controls systems. - Driver's license:
Valid State of Ohio Driver's License.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering. - Experience:
10 years of full-time paid experience in building construction or Building Code enforcement, with at least 2 years in commercial plans examination. - License:
Must have a license to practice Architecture or Engineering in Ohio and must be certified by the Ohio Board of Building Standards as a Master Plans Examiner (or obtain within 6 months). Certification as a Building Official is preferred.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. - Experience:
4 years of full-time paid engineering or construction experience in the design or construction of roads and bridges. - License:
Must have a State of Ohio Professional Engineer's License (or a temporary license at hire with a permanent license within 90 days). - Computer skills:
Proficient in spreadsheets and typing; working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Driver's license:
Valid State of Ohio Driver's License. - Physical ability:
Able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds; capable of taking measurements.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field (or equivalent as determined by the Ohio Board of Registration of Professional Engineering and Surveyors). Master’s Degree preferred. - Experience:
2 years of full-time paid general engineering experience. - License:
Must have a Professional Engineer's License; valid State of Ohio Driver's License.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. - Experience:
5 years of full-time paid engineering or traffic engineering experience. - License:
Must have a Professional Engineer's License (or obtain one within 6 months). - Computer skills:
Proficient and working knowledge of related software packages. - Driver's license:
Valid State of Ohio Driver's License.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field (or equivalent as determined by the Ohio Board of Registration of Professional Engineering and Surveyors). Master’s Degree preferred. - License:
Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ohio; if licensed in another state, must apply for an Ohio PE license at hire and obtain within 4 months. - Experience:
10 years of full-time paid experience working as a degreed engineer. - Computer skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and various software packages. - Preferred:
Knowledge of distribution system hydraulics; experience with water, wastewater, electric utilities or engineering consulting firms. - Driver's license:
Valid State of Ohio Driver's License.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field from an ABET accredited four‑year college or university (or equivalent as determined by the Ohio Board of Registration of Professional Engineering and Surveyors). Master’s Degree preferred. - License:
Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ohio; if licensed elsewhere, must apply at hire and obtain within 4 months. - Experience:
3 years of full‑time paid experience in Distribution substation Engineering, GIS, and AutoCAD (5 years preferred). - Driver's license:
Valid State of Ohio Driver's License.
- Education:
