What you will be doing:
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget.
- Create scope of work, bid package and project specifications.
- Review technical drawings, provide feedback, negotiate changes.
- Evaluate electrical power systems.
- Evaluate electrical and safety compliance to local and national codes.
- Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors.
- Evaluate Power distribution/breaker size/Amp draw/SCCR/Panel Loading.
- Specify/Confirm electrical components for industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones.
- Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment.
- Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers.
- Develop countermeasures for project delays for timely project completion.
Essential:
- BS In Engineering, Technical Trader Certification or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years project management.
- Microsoft Office Software proficient.
- Bid Spec development, Contractor negotiation.
- 2+ years Technical Drawing experience.
- 2+ years Industrial Power Distribution/System Design.
- BSEE.
- Project management experience.
- Automotive paint process experience.
- AutoCAD proficient.
- Ability to understand and calculate utility cost.
- Understanding of PLC operation & programming (Toyopuc, Omron, Allen-Bradley).
- Understanding of PLC communication (FLNet, Ether Net).
- Understanding of OT/IT networking.
- NFPA 70E/77.
- OSHA 10/30.
