Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for industrial automation, controls engineering, and problem-solving? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our engineering team and play a key role in designing, programming, and supporting advanced control systems for industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors to deliver innovative electrical and automation solutions while supporting projects from design through implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Design electrical control systems, schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems, primarily using Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
- Support motion control systems, AC variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial control networks.
- Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and technical drawings.
- Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support new and existing projects.
- Troubleshoot equipment and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and startup activities to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, electrical codes, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, automation, or controls engineering.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley Control Logix, Studio 5000, Factory Talk, and Siemens TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motion control systems, and industrial networking technologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
