Safety Intern – BWX Technologies, Inc. – Barberton, OH

• Demonstrates behaviors that foster and promote a strong safety conscious work environment (SCWE).
• Support in the development of materials that improve existing work methods, services or outcomes and promote safe and compliant results.
• Assist with reviewing and updating safety policies.
• Learn and be exposed to the structure and operations of the Barberton site Safety team. The site is comprised of over 1,000 employees.
• Assist with reviewing and creating performance analysis activities.
• Support site safety culture and human performance advancement initiatives.
• Assist with monitoring and updating environmental systems and processes.
• Conduct audits and observations used to develop safety trend patterns to determine asset utilization.

• Safety-related education (pursuing).
• Junior standing or above at the start of the internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship required for this position.
