Our client is an established, mid-sized multi-disciplinary engineering firm delivering integrated civil, structural, MEP, transportation, and environmental services. The firm supports a wide range of public and private sector projects and is known for collaborative teams and high-quality technical work.
They are seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Manager to lead complex projects and work closely with engineers across multiple disciplines.
What You’ll Do- Manage water resources and site development projects from planning through construction.
- Lead stormwater, drainage, sanitary sewer, and water system design efforts.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations and technical documentation.
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and permit packages.
- Coordinate permitting with local and state regulatory agencies.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, subconsultants, and contracts.
- Track project performance, including invoicing and financials.
- Support proposals, fee estimates, and client communications.
- Coordinate civil deliverables within multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Apply QA/QC standards to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients, agencies, and consultants.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Active Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 10+ years of experience in water resources and site development.
- Strong background in stormwater design, drainage studies, and utilities.
- Proficiency with HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, ICPR, Civil 3D
, or similar tools. - Solid understanding of regional permitting and regulatory processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong financial, budgeting, and contract management skills.
- Clear communicator with strong attention to detail.
