Senior Process Engineer – Japanese Speaking

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead on projects, applying advanced engineering concepts to develop process systems for food and beverage applications.
• Execute the full scope of project work, including design, budgeting, implementation, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met. Lead discussions and planning sessions with stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance engineering quality and project deliverables. Lead knowledge-sharing groups and best practice initiatives.
• Take a lead role in on-site support and commissioning activities, including planning and facilitating complex commissioning processes.
• Contribute to business development by providing technical input during sales calls, customer meetings, and proposal development.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, including equipment lists, flow diagrams, process narratives, and project reports.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on process systems.
• Experience:
  
  Significant experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines, with a proven ability to lead projects.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Strong experience with MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
• Licenses:
  Professional Engineer (PE) license is expected.
• Physical Demands:
  Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to variable conditions during site visits.
