Loan Operations Specialist

Job Description

This is an intermediate level position within the loan operations department. The position requires a highly organized and focused individual that will report directly to the Loan Operations Manager. As a member of the lending team, Loan Operations Specialist II works closely with all ICBB lending staff, including credit analyst, lenders, and senior management. This position also involves communicating with other banks and their lending and credit staff.

Primary duties for this role include but are not limited to:

• 1st and 2nd Check (Rotating)
• Morning Reports (Rotating)
• Post Payments (backup)
• Post Draws (backup)
• Spreadsheet Creation
• Assign Loan Numbers
• Complete Load Sheets
• Books Loans
• Create Folders/Upload docs for new loans to Participants in Share File
• Monthly GL Reconciliation
• Manage Voting Records for Loan Committee/Board
• Rate Change Notices
• Share File Administration
• Calculate Scheduled Payments
• Monitor Maturing Loans Report
• UCC Tracking Reports
• File UCCs & Continuations

Must be able to perform or backup all duties of a Loan Operations Specialist I. Daily work tasks may change depending on the staffing within the department, as well as rotating vacations/pto time off. Additional duties may be assigned by the Loan Operations Manager in order to ensure the demands of the departments are met based on the staffing on any given day.

• High School diploma or GED
• Associate degree or Equivalent work experience
• Experience with Microsoft and is able to adapt to evolving technology
• Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbal and written
• Possess the knowledge to manually calculate accrued interest when needed
• Maintains a positive attitude and works harmoniously with ICBB and customer bank staff
• Has the ability to stay organized and complete tasks efficiently and accurately with extreme attention to detail
• Is trustworthy and can maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
