Responsibilities
- Open and maintain customer accounts.
- Run the teller drawer as required by management.
- Engage clients through active calling, conversations, and follow‑up.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver service and solutions aligned with the First Financial Bank Experience.
- Ensure timely client follow‑up calls.
- Maintain operational and risk‑management standards.
- Assist clients with transactions within the branch, drive‑thru, by phone, and via email.
- Act as a role model for peers, fostering alignment with the bank’s mission and values.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
- Collaborate with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and objectives, attracting and growing core client relationships.
- Serve as clients’ personal trusted advisor, adding value and building deep relationships through the First Client Conversation Model.
- Participate and lead in the First Financial Bank Experience through center huddles and meetings.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management.
- Provide digital assistance and service for clients using the bank’s online offerings.
- Stay informed on bank products, processes, and procedures, especially complex ones.
- 3-4 years client‑service experience in a retail environment.
- 3-4 years sales and service experience with a track record of achieving goals.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Notary authorization is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of bank products and solid sales skills.
- Ability to serve a wide variety of client needs according to bank policy and procedures.
- Ability to lead teams as needed.
- Works with limited supervision, follows guidelines, collaborates with supervisors, and advises others using subject‑matter expertise.
- Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
- Frequently sits, stands, walks, and drives.
The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by state and federal law and regulation, as well as all related bank policies and procedures. This includes the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Pay Range: $18.00-$20.19 per hour
