Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Georgetown, KY. This is a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine role with a strong focus on cardiac imaging.
Start Date:
March 9, 2026 (ASAP consideration)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours:
40 hours per week
Setting:
Radiology / Nuclear Medicine
Facility Type: 75-bed acute care hospital
This is a replacement position for a permanent staff member.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures with a heavy focus on cardiac imaging
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
- Perform IV placement and maintain venous access
- Conduct cardiac studies including QGS/QPS when applicable
- Operate GE Infinia II equipment
- Ensure proper image processing and storage within Med Host/Nova Rad PACS
- Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and imaging team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Patient Population:
Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
- CNMT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
- Strong IV placement skills required
- Heavy cardiac imaging experience required
- Associate degree required
- Must reside 60+ miles from facility to qualify for travel status
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- No weekend requirement
- No call requirement
- Orientation held weekly on Mondays

Hospital-based Nuclear Med Tech role with heavy cardiac imaging focus. CNMT required. Strong IV skills and cardiac experience essential. Monday–Friday schedule with no call or weekends. Must live 60+ miles from facility to qualify as traveler. Experienced Nuclear Med Techs only.
