- Valid RN license in applicable state
- Proven experience in radiation oncology, medical oncology, or related specialty
- Strong understanding of radiation therapy procedures, protocols, and safety measures
- Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or equivalent
- Experience with advanced radiation therapy equipment
- Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols related to oncology treatments
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in radiation oncology or oncology nursing
- Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient cancer treatment center
- Ability to travel as needed for training or conferences
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- Must comply with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
