- Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, walking >5 hrs; reach items above/below shoulder; lift up to 30 lbs.
Assists pharmacists in medication preparation and distribution at UK Specialty Pharmacy. Fills prescriptions and packages orders for delivery in a busy retail-based pharmacy setting. Requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, reliability, punctuality, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities & Skills- Prepare prescriptions and package orders for delivery.
- Maintain accurate medication records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and suppliers.
- Operate pharmacy equipment safely.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Collaborate with pharmacy team and pharmacists.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General chemistry knowledge, basic algebra, proficient reading/writing/speaking in English.
- Preferred: 1 year pharmacy technician experience or related medical field experience.
- Must be registered with the KY Board of Pharmacy.
