Program Aid

The Program Aid must:

Demonstrate a professional, respectful and informed approach in any client interactions

Provide support to housing staff

Share ideas on recovery management outside of billable services or HCBSDocument facility and resident activity in compliance with agency policy

Demonstrate cultural competency with consumer population

Perform light housekeeping and safety tasks

Work collaboratively with other staff

Provide/schedule transportation for residents and activities

Communicate effectively with others

Maintain privacy of consumers and others

Participate in performance improvement

Support agency mission and values

Participate in agency training

Perform other duties as assigned

Document as appropriate to position

Qualification/Requirements High School Diploma/GEDPrior work experience in behavioral health and/or 12 Step Recovery preferred

Ability to maintain accurate and timely records CPR/First Aid Training encouraged

Valid Ohio Driver’s License Work Environment and Physical Demands Valid Ohio Driver’s This position operates in a housing/living environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and household equipment such as cleaning and cooking/kitchen equipment. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50lbs.
