Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 1-3 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in a Radiation Oncology department at a community hospital in Georgetown, KY.

• Certified Radiation Therapist (CRT) credential required
• AHA certifications required prior to start
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Work in a Radiation Oncology department at a 75-bed acute care community hospital
• Adult patient population with high-volume cancer sites including breast, lung, prostate, and colorectal
• Daily caseload of 10-20 patients treated per day
• Uses True Beam Linear Accelerator
• EMR systems include Aria, Medhost, and Athena
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekend, float, or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract
• Deliver radiation therapy treatments in a Radiation Oncology outpatient-style setting within a community hospital
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Navy blue scrubs required; t-shirts and quarter-zips with facility logo are not acceptable
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
