Medical Equipment Technician / Ethos Technical Specialist

Reports to:

Field Service Manager Technical Specialist are responsible for delivering, removing, servicing and maintaining durable medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. The job requires daily travel using a company vehicle. The service area may extend 250+ miles.
** Job Responsibilities**:
* Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities.
* Keeps accurate records of delivery, pick-up, maintenance and repair activities.
* Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer.
* Periodically works on-call rotation.
* Responsible for all general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep.## Qualifications
** Required Qualifications**:
* High school diploma or its equivalent.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Valid license with minimum 3 years driving experience. Must be insurable at standard automobile rates at all times.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Technical or Trade School training or certification.
* Customer support experience.
* Work experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry.
* Proficient with standard technology devices and Apps (mobile phones, tablets, etc.)
** Physical and Safety Requirements**:
* Ability to sit, kneel, bend, or stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to safety lift, move or transport, 50-75 lbs. with and without physical aids.
* Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for short and long-distance travel.
* Must wear provided personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and protective clothing.
