Behavioral Health Technician

The Crossroads Center, a committed non-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment and mental health services. This role is pivotal in aiding individuals undergoing medical detox and mental health challenges, providing them with the support needed for recovery and wellness in a supportive and compassionate environment.

• Assist in the monitoring and recording of the behavior patterns of clients
• Provide clients with support during therapeutic activities and treatments
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all clients through close supervision and vigilance
• Facilitate group activities and therapy sessions under the guidance of a professional
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment
• Document client progress and concerns for use in treatment planning
• Communicate effectively with team members to provide highest standards of care

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high‑stress environment
• Understanding of behavioral health conditions and treatment approaches
• Crisis intervention skills
• Empathetic and compassionate nature
• Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required
