Job Duties

What you’ll do at DBH:

The Psychologist Supervisor will supervise the psychology staff and oversee the clinical operations to ensure clinical services are provided to patients according to their clinical needs. Additional duties include:

  • Research activities to develop policies to establish procedures for delivery of psychological services.
  • Monitor quality and effectiveness of psychology services provided to meet standards required by the hospital.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed timely and accurately including treatment goals, assessments, and progress notes.
  • Consult with administration and staff on psychological matters. Assign work assignments and review work performance.
  • Ensure treatment programming and interventions are implemented as scheduled. Recruit, interview, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Formulate and implement education programs for psychology, and hospital staff. Attend and represent the psychology department at meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops.

This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units
, with a pay range of 16 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (Flexible Schedule). This position is located at our Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare location, located at 1756 Sagamore Rd Northfield, Ohio 44067.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
