Join Ohio Health as an Acute CT Technologist on our full-time night shift team. You'll perform advanced CT imaging for emergency and acute patients, ensuring rapid, accurate diagnostics while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety and patient care. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and ED teams, support critical decision-making, and document studies in our electronic systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT scans for acute and emergency patients following physician orders and safety protocols
  • Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition and radiation safety
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and providing compassionate care during exams
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and emergency staff to prioritize and complete urgent studies
  • Verify patient identification, review medical history, and confirm exam requirements in the EMR/RISMonitor patients during and after contrast administration, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exam records, and imaging data within Ohio
  • Health systems
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures for all CT operations
  • Participate in continuing education, skills training, and competency validation for CT technology
  • Support department workflow on night shifts, including on-call or cross-coverage as needed
