Overview
Performs peripheral vascular and/or echo cardiographic procedures at a high technical level. Uses independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to perform state-of-the art diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Administers contrast medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician.
QualificationsEducation Required
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of Ultrasound or Echo School/Program
License, Certification and/or Registration
- Require ARDMS or CCI registration in ECHO
- Require RVT
- BLS certification required within orientation period
- MOAB required
Experience
- 3 years of ECHO experience
