Hotel Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Base Salary Range: $14.50 – $16.50 / hour (Depending on experience)
Position OverviewThe Hampton Inn Lexington/Georgetown is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our overnight team. You will be the primary face of the hotel during the night shift, combining high-quality guest service with critical accounting duties.
Our property utilizes Hilton's PEP (Property Engagement Platform). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience running the overnight close and executing financial balances within the PEP system.
Core Responsibilities- PEP System Operations:
Execute the official end-of-day system rollover via Hilton PEP, troubleshooting system alerts and ensuring proper system closeouts. - Financial Auditing:
Audit, balance, and verify all daily front desk cash flows, credit card transactions, and room revenue accounts against system records. - Guest Service & Front Desk:
Manage late-night check-ins, early departures, and handle overnight reservation inquiries with a warm, "Hamptonality" customer mindset. - Reporting:
Compile, organize, and distribute critical daily operational journals and financial summaries to hotel management. - Overnight Safety:
Maintain building security, monitor the property lobby and access points, and confidently handle any overnight emergencies following standard procedures. - Morning Prep:
Set up early coffee & assist with preparation for the breakfast shift.
- Required Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of hotel front desk or auditing experience, with direct, functional proficiency using Hilton's PEP software. - Technical Aptitude:
Strong math skills, sharp analytical abilities, and high comfort levels balancing financial data spreadsheets. - Reliability:
Proven history of excellent attendance and punctuality, which is vital to solo overnight property coverage. - Communication:
Courteous and professional English communication skills to resolve guest concerns independently. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
