We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our Compression Flow Technologies Business Unit in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our HR leadership to drive HR initiatives, supporting both salaried and hourly employees. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, and will have the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact projects.

- Recruitment: manage onboarding process including pre‑employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation, HRIS entry.
- HRIS: maintain Success Factors Human Resources Information System employee database and files.
- Communication/Training: deploy HR plans, processes, programs and policies aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment/performance management, employee engagement and communications.
- Partnership: collaborate with local HR business partners to share best practices, critical needs issues, and local site and sector initiatives.
- Benefits: assist employees with benefits issues, annual open enrollment process, wellness on‑site annual screenings.
- Safety:
- ensure EHS compliance requirements are met, including submission of Worker’s Comp claims.
- assist in the identification of safety training needs and ensuring response programs are in place.
- Employee Relations:
- work closely with leadership, HR Business Partners and employees to improve work relationships, build positive engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
- act as employee advocate through effective employee relations.
- create positive change through coaching, counseling, and influencing skills.
- monitor employee climate to identify issues/trends/opportunities, proposing solutions/changes where needed.
- drive and enable cultural transformation to support an employee ownership mentality.
- counsel management and employees regarding policies and procedures.
- provide guidance and participation in performance improvement processes as well as employee issues, concerns or complaints.
- Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resource.
- Self‑motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and pivot to meet the changing needs of the organization and collaborate effectively within HR and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- SHRM‑CP or SCP is a plus.
- SAP Success Factors experience preferred.
- Sound judgment and problem‑solving ability with strong relationship building skills.
