What we're looking for

The People Services Manager is a market-level leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the People Services function in alignment with organizational strategy and values. This position supports both the Multiple locations and plays a critical role in strengthening employee engagement, leadership capability, workforce stability, and compliance within a healthcare environment.

How you'll contribute

A People Services Manager who excels in this role:

  • Develop and support departmental goals, standards, and objectives that directly align with the organization's strategic plan and vision.
  • Lead and manage employee relations initiatives, including performance management, conflict resolution, staff satisfaction, and corrective action processes.
  • Oversee and coordinate workforce activities including scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, staff development, and student engagement programs.
  • Design and implement leadership development initiatives to strengthen management capability and support succession planning across the organization.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for leaders and staff on topics such as employee relations, compliance, performance management, and professional development.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to officers and senior leaders, providing guidance on people-related matters, organizational effectiveness, and culture.
  • Align people practice with business objectives across multiple locations.
  • Contribute to operational and workforce decisions that improve staff stability and employee engagement.
  • Oversee and administers the organization's workers' compensation program, including injury reporting, claim management, coordination with carriers and third party administrators, return to work planning, and compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Manage leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADAAA related medical leaves, and other statutory or organizational leave programs, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and consistent application of policy.
  • Coordinate and evaluate reasonable accommodation requests in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), engaging in the interactive process with employees, leaders, and healthcare providers to determine appropriate accommodations while balancing operational needs.
  • Conduct and supports overall compensation review activities, including job evaluations, pay equity analysis, market benchmarking, and compensation recommendations to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices.
  • Analyze, track, and report on workforce metrics, including turnover trends, retention risks, and engagement indicators, and recommends data-driven solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Determine, justify, and manage departmental needs related to systems, equipment, and supplies while monitoring appropriate usage and functionality.
  • Create and foster an environment that promotes professional growth, accountability, and alignment with the companies Health's mission and continuum of care.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
